Metro Payroll '98
.

Payroll '98 is designed to help individuals and small companies calculate their PAYE contributions without the additional expense of employing an accountant for the more mundane payroll calculations.

Payroll '98 is programmed to calculate all rates of National Insurance contributions and can also handle all tax codes, including K and BR codes. Income tax deductions are normally made according to the cumulative method, although non-cumulative calculations can be selected by clicking on the Emergency Tax Code check box.

Records can be created for each individual employee, making pay day an even easier occurrence.

Metro Payroll has been designed to be extremely easy to use by means of a very friendly user interface.

To begin using Metro Payroll, click on Create New Employee from the File menu. You will be presented with the full payroll screen, where you can enter all the figures and details necessary for you to complete your PAYE deductions.

Once all the entries are complete, click on Calculate and all the calculations will appear. If you have made an error, click on Undo and correct the necessary details.

You can then print a payslip, from the File menu.

If you want to use this employee file again in future, it can be saved by clicking on Save Employee Record from the File menu. Enter a suitable name and click on OK. This file is then permanently saved for you to use again in the next pay day.
